With diverse experiences, here are a few of Precious' influences to inspire you to own your voice and story:

  • Everything we do is interconnected. Precious has a natural strategic ability and curiosity for noticing and observing patterns and consequences of decisions long before they play out.

She guides her consulting and coaching clients to consider challenges from a holistic perspective, thinking about how one’s actions today impact our future desired results. Clients value her intentionality and tact in asking thought-provoking questions that allow you space to get 1% better as a leader and chart a clear direction forward with your team and stakeholders.

  • Precious understands the unique elements that help leaders harness the power of teams and communities to work well together, so that they can achieve their desired impact.

With her Master’s degree in Community Development with a focus on organizational and leadership development, she applied her training to developing student leaders in a university context as a Certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner.

Now, as an Adjunct Faculty with the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) and Executive Coach, she applies her diverse educational background and experiences to guide leaders and teams locally and globally to become more self-aware leaders who communicate with authenticity and impact.

  • Driven by a passion for people, the theme of making space for people to feel seen, heard, and understood runs through Precious’ career and life journey.

Initially on a path of wanting to become a human rights lawyer by studying Criminology at SFU, Precious loved debate until she discovered the power of dialogue. Early in her career, Precious was trained in a dialogue and group facilitation process called peacemaking circles by Kay Pranis, a national leader and trainer in the field of restorative justice.

Since then, Precious has used the power of dialogue to help high-performing teams resolve high-stakes conflict and navigate major changes. She consulted on and facilitated a high-stakes team cohesion client engagement that resulted in 100% partnership alignment and $6.3 million USD in cost savings for six energy companies. This consulting engagement was a partnership between her firm Impact Plus Consulting, Canada and Impact Partners Nigeria.

In her personal life, Precious uses her expert facilitation skills to curate bespoke dinner parties that spark lasting authentic connections and build communities. You can trust Precious to bring your team together purposefully given her 10 years of professional experience as a facilitator and host of 50 dinner conversations. Her 250+ guests leave inspired, engaged, and transformed

  • Being born and raised in Rivers State, a Southern state in Nigeria, Precious learned the art of storytelling as a way to connect with people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Her last-name, Ile is fully spelt as Ile-Onyeije. Ile means to look after. Onyeije means a traveller or guest. Together, Ile-Onyeije means someone who is welcoming to a traveller / guest or a hospitable person.

As a Nigerian-Canadian and faith-driven entrepreneur, Precious believes in the power of building welcoming spaces and authentic connections through coaching, training, facilitation, or community building. This led to her hosting nearly 50 dinner parties in 4 years and her TEDx talk on how to network with confidence and purpose.

Being a Christian and faith-driven entrepreneur is core to Precious’ servant-leadership approach and coaching presence.

The mustard seed (the circle dot in her logo) and brand colour represent her faith as her driving force for coaching leaders to achieve lasting impact globally. With Christ as Precious’ core and her inspiration source, the mustard yellow circle represents 3 elements of her signature coaching and speaking presence: her warm, high-energy, and an impactful presence that inspires leaders to rise and glow - impacting the world for good.

  • Precious believes that change happens by being part of the decision-making process.

Throughout her career, Precious facilitated policy and restorative circle dialogues ranging from engaging youth who were at-risk of being homeless in public policy to engaging nearly 2,200 students at Simon Fraser University in student consultations.

Over the past eight years, she has served as a Public Engagement Expert and Board Director across four nonprofit boards like IAP2 Canada and CityHive Vancouver. She advocates for youth and citizen voices to inform policy decisions that impact their lives and be part of shaping the future of their cities and communities.

  • Precious published her first collection of poems, Words in Verses in Nigeria. Her early, natural inclination towards the power of spoken word poetry helped her own her unique voice and become an expert in coaching leaders and teams on public speaking and storytelling.

Speaking at the early age of 10 to thousands of people at church conferences and large public gatherings helped Precious realize the power of using her voice for good and igniting in leaders the power to find and own their voice. Now, she coaches leaders and teams on the art of effective and persuasive presentations and storytelling, so that they can amplify a message that matters.

She infuses her original poems into her speaking, strategic advisory, training, and facilitation to make client engagements engaging, fun, and transformative. In her personal life, she curates and facilitates spoken word dinner parties that bring diverse groups of people together, one authentic conversation at a time.
